Scotts Pit, Lonlas, Swansea. In September 1976 the South West Wales Industrial Archaeological Society embarked on its Scotts Pit Project. This involved the investigation and restoration of the engine-house and associated buildings of an early nineteenth century coal mine at Llansamlet.
