The series contains a TS draft of ‘Puckoon’, known as Milligan’s ‘first and only book’, with MS illustrations relating to the same work, as well an annotated piece of cardboard found contained with the above. Contained in a box file with an original handwritten label by Milligan: ‘spike milligan [printed] Puckoon | MSS V [V and tick in red, possibly added later] | Illustrations | Correspondence’. Further down the same label, in red, also handwritten: ‘Illustrated[?] | J. Hobbs 22 Feb. 77’. Below this, in red and circled: ‘MS Intact | Feb 1981| [Line] | But one or | 2[?] Drawings | Missing | “Foggerty”[?]. At the bottom of the label, the number ‘22’ drawn to look like two swans.
