In his letter to the editor of 'Time-Life International' Cooper corrects Graves's attribution of certain heraldic terms to an Arabic etymology rather than a Persian one, and the poet Rumi to Arabic rather than Persian literature. In his ms note to Graves Cooper encourages him to take an interest in Persian mythology and culture.
