Scope and Content

MEMORANDUM OF RECOGNIZANCE: Owen Hughes of Pen y Lone in the parish of Holyhead who is bound in the sum of £30. James Hughes, victualler of the Wheat Sheaf in the parish of Holyhead and William Prichard, labourer of Y Strid in the parish of Holyhead are bound in the sum of £15 each for the appearance of Owen Hughes at the next General Quarter Session to answer the charge given by Elizabeth Jones of the parish of Holyhead on the 20th day of September last that she was with child and that he was the father.
