Scope and Content

DEPOSITION: William Morris of Bryn Ednyfed, petty constable of the parish of Trewalchmai who saith that a warrant was delivered to him for the purpose of searching the house of Richard Owen of Cwt y ffwl. He found now barley in the house but found a considerable amount of barley chaff covered over with ashes. He took some of the chaff together with Ellin the wife of Richard Owen to Bodedern Special Sessions at which place she was comitted to Gaol .
