With hedges and trees in the left of the picture, and a suggestion of a female figure in the shadow of the house. Printed on plain cream card in black and coloured by hand with colouring pencils. Scope and Content
Physical Characteristics and/or Technical Requirements
Some dirty marks to surface, abrasions to all corners. Robust. Production method: printed on card, and coloured by hand with colouring pencils. Possibly hand printed from a linolium cut. The card was not necessarily intended to be a postcard, as the reverse has no printed text, and only a hand drawn division line between the address and message.
