Scope and Content

From Selina Hastings [Countess of Huntingdon] in Bath, Somerset, to Charles Wesley, enclosing John Wesley's 'minutes', which she can only explain as 'Popery unmasked'. She now disavows her friendship for, and her long association with John Wesley.

Her attachment to what she sees as the 'fundamental principles' of the reformed churches is emphasised, and her religious beliefs described in detail.

Annotated by Charles Wesley - Unanswered by J W's brother.
