LETTER: J. Williams of Tregarnedd to Jones, concerning the evidence of his servant, Robert Griffith in the case of the Llandisilio pauper. He states that R.G. was hired to the factory by John Williams but cannot tell if he was the sole owner or a managing partner.
Attached Note dated Oct. 2, by W. Roberts of Carnarvon who states that John Owen has no part in the factory, and that he will not attend the hearing as he has no more to say.

Attached E xamination and Deposition of John Owen, shoemaker of parish Llandisilio, re. the place of his last legal settlement in parish Llanllyfni in Co. Carnarvon where he rented a tenement called Tan y lan before moving to Cadnant where he proposed to have a factory and where he supervised the building of such a factory for William Roberts and Henry Morgan.
