Scope and Content

From Wilfred Evans: 'Mr Lane does not seem to grasp the facts relating to the binding of the Toy books, and writes to me on the 8th inst. as follows (Mr Crane sends me his invoice to-day without any deduction. Shall I debit you with the 8/- a hundred that I am paying for the binding? I have had to put them in had as I could not wait) I replied that I received my instructions from you to deliver in sheets, and he writes again to-day "You are entirely mistake when you say that I wished to bind these myself. I asked Mr Walter Crane if he would allow me to do so, and make an allowance for the binding, but he did not reply." I have written to him tonight telling him again what my instructions were from you.'
