He has written to Westminster Bank Cricklewood to confirm his transfer of the loan to Royal Trust of Canada, also conveyance of the site of the Baptist chapel at Bryn. Guernsey is rather worried about the Channel Tunnel and Common Market.

1964 Dec. 6 LETTER: Buck, King's Road, St. Peter Port, [Guernsey] to Hugh [Virgo Williams] Elm Cottage, Clifton, Rugby. Herewith the final cheque from Uncle Howe's Estate. Gordon reports that the accountants' final date for completion is mid-December and a statement of accounts is being submitted to all thirteen beneficiaries. Christopher and Susan are happy at School. Verity is 14 months struggling with her first steps. He had to go on the lifeboat to treat a patient at Herm - mercifully the sea was calm.
