1958 Sep. 26 LETTER: County Fire Office Limited, 46, High Street, Slough, to Miss G. M. Jones, c/o Mrs R. E. Jones, Elmhurst, Garth Road, Bangor. They are not clear as to whether she wishes them to double the existing sum insured of £2,150 as you are also considering extending the insurance to include damage to the property by aircraft.

They are increasing the sum insured by the policy to £4,300. As she proposes returning to The Cottage a rep. will call in 3 weeks re householders' comprehensive insurance.

1958 Oct. 3 Memo: It is declared and agreed that as from 26th Sep. 1958 the sum insured increased from £2,150 to £4,300

1958 Nov. 20 LETTER: Buckland & Sons, to Miss G.M. Jones, The Cottage enclosing the new policy.

Enclosed: POLICY SCHEDULE: County Fire Office Limited. Comprehensive policy in the name of Miss Gweneifur Marian Jones for the Cottage, Wraysbury.

Enclosed: LETTERS: 1869 and 1871 White Borrett & Co. Deputy Stewards, London 6 Whitehall Place, S.W. to Mrs Buckland, Wraysbury, Nr. Windsor. They find referring to the court rolls of Wyrardisbury Manor that the late Mr Francis Buckland held a cottage garden at a rent of 2/8/2 a year and shall be glad to know if she is now entitled to the property in question.
