Scope and Content

From London, to William Russell, 'Master of Music', at Guildford, Surrey, re the poor health of Russell's wife, who has suffered a stroke. Spiritual matters are discussed.

Sam hopes that Russell liked his fiddle.

If circumstances permit, Russell should attend the next musical concert given by the Wesley brothers on Thursday 6 March, or Thursday 20 March.

Charles junior's songs have been 'retarded' with his permission, but are now ready [for printing]. He has made them very easy to play.

Both Charles junior and Samuel rely more on their own hard work to get on, than on their influential friends.
