Scope and Content

The building is dated 1867. It is of two storeys and an attic with walls of stone and with a front elevation of two main bays. The north western bay is gabled and projects forwards; there is a paired sash window with columned mullions with a capital to the attic storey; there is a blind two centred ashlar panel above the attic window with the date '1867' inscribed in a circular medallion. On the first floor, there is a window of three pointed lights with columned mullions and roll moulded capitals; paterae in spandrels.

The recessed left hand bay is of street elevation with a gabled dormer and on the first and ground floors there is a large ornate storeyed bay window of five lights to the first floor and of three transomed lights, partly with shoulders, below. There is a narrow forecourt bounded from the street by a low dwarf wall of stone with ashlar coping.
