Handwritten declaration made under the Statutory Declarations Act 1835 by Charles John Bathurst, artist and picture restorer, declaring that an accompanying photograph is a painting by Thomas Gainsborough upon which he has performed restoration work of Robinson and Fisher and attesting to the condition of the painting and of his work. The declaration has been witnessed by a Commissioner for Oaths.
