Typed copy of a letter from William Roberts, art critic and art sales correspondent of the Times, to Thos. Agnew & Sons regarding the portrait of Lady Dashwood-King, which he has seen at the Agnew's Galleries. He writes in light of having seen the picture to rectify a misconception in in the book 'John Hoppner, R.A'. by William McKay and W. Roberts regarding the work.
