Scope and Content

By Gustav Holst, begun before 1900, finished 1906. Opera in three acts.

Founded on Ramayana. Libretto by the composer.

Vocal score, mainly non-autograph manuscript, title page and pages 33-39B are autograph, as are few stage directions (as stated in Imogen Holst's hand on the covering page); Act I [65pp], Act II [126pp], Act III [115pp].
