Scope and Content

RETURN: The Treasurer of the County of Anglesey to the Treasurer of the County of Flint for monies repaid by him to the overseers of the poor for the maintenance of the families of Hugh Davies, William Jones and David Jones of the parish of Holywell, serving in the Anglesey Militia.

William Jones is serving as a substitute for Thomas Griffith of the parish of Llechgenfarwydd, Anglesey.

David Jones is serving as a substitute for Mr Hewitt of the parish of Llanbadrig Cemaes, Anglesey.

The maintenence is for the wife and child of Hugh Davies (Sergeant) for the period Sept. 26th 1809 to April 10th 1809 in the amountof 3s 0d a week, for the wife of William Jones for the period Sept. 26th 1809 to Feb. 13th 1809 in the amount of 3s 0d a week and for the wife of David Jones for the period March 4th 1808 to January 2nd 1809 in the amount of 1s 6d a week.
