Scope and Content

RETURN: The Treasurer of the County of Anglesey to the Treasurer of the County of Flint for monies repaid by him to the overseers of the poor for the maintenance of the families of Hugh Davies and William Jones of the parish of Holywell, serving in the Anglesey Militia.

William Jones is serving as a substitute for Thomas Griffith of the parish of Llechgenfarwydd, Anglesey.

The maintenance is for the wife and child of Hugh Davies and the wife of William Jones for the period July 11th to September 16th 1808 in the sum of £2 9s 6d.
