Scope and Content

W. P. Crozier to Frederick Voigt.

Location: [Manchester].

With reference to Gördeler's letter, he agrees that economic difficulty can be overplayed, that is does not stop war-like behaviour. He gives his views on Austria, and asks if he would write a long leader about Austria's current precarious position, and the distraction of Spain for England, Italy and Germany. A hint about the danger beforehand would be advisable if Hitler is going to act soon. He gives a view on 'purges'.
