From Martin Weinbaum, (b.1902), historian.. Weinbaum was author of the third volume of British Borough Charters 1307-1660 (Cambridge 1943). He fled from Nazi Germany and was employed for a period at the University of Manchester in the 1930s.

Discusses research at Bodleian; attached is a draft or transcript in Tait's hand of a review of Weinbaum's London unter Eduard i und II (Stuttgart 1933) for English Historical Review. and of Verfassungsgeschichte London 1066-1268 (Stuttgart 1929).
