Letter from G. Maw [George Maw] to William Robinson

Scope and Content

Written from Benthall Hall, near Brosely, [Shropshire]. Manuscript

He has returned from Milz[?] to find the Chinodoxa luciliae in perfection so will send it to Miss Pierrepont; he will also send a white variety which should be included in the plate; the specimens have slightly fewer flowers than average on a scape but it will make a handsome plate; he will write the letter press to accompany it; he hopes Robinson likes the plate of his crocus monograph sent a few days ago
