Small glass negatives measuring 6.75"x3.25" and 6.5"x4.75" with two virtually identical images on each plate. These are designed to be printed with the left image in the right hand position and vice versa, with the resulting photograph observed through a stereo viewer to give a three dimensional effect. The images are mostly outdoor scenes of excursions, leisure activities and landscapes. The negatives do not have studio numbers but it has been possible to compile several sets of negatives based on their matching characteristics. As the earliest negatives date from the decade of Bagshaw's birth, it is possible that he was a collector of stereoscopic plates. Some of the negatives are damaged by mould from being kept in damp storage conditions in the past.
