- /2-10 Letters from Balaban (some sent through Clyde B. Coreil), and one letter from Crystal Erhart (3 January 1971-12 February 1972), relating to: plans for Carcanet to publish the translations and possible support for the project from UNESCO; work on the manuscript and revisions to be made; the submission of a revised version of the manuscript; contractual issues; life in Saigon; Balaban's work in gathering popular Vietnamese poems and songs; and his Carcanet pamphlet Vietnam poems. /3 includes a typescript poem by Balaban entitled 'Carcanet'.
