Scope and Content

Three page typed list titled Scottish Allotments Scheme for the Unemployed: Details of Photographs, dated 7th June 1938, which details subject and photographer (where known) of 90 images. A note on page 2 records that numbers 1 to 45 have been published (a number of which can be cross-linked to the SASU Annual Reports: UGC 222/1/3), and at the end another note states that some of the photographs have "negatives attached". The second bundle of documents details the arrangements made for photographing allotments circa 1939, and extracts from letters give detailed information regarding some of the subjects.
