Scope and Content

Subjects: 1) Talk of old friends at home and Ernest’s fiancée. 2) The Wilson family make it out of Shih-tao at last; sickness and death of children sorely tried their faith, but trust in god helped preserve Mrs Wilson sanity. 3) A lady visitor dies from dysentery, leaving 3 children motherless. 4) Pearl and Isabel are fit and well again.
