On receipt of AGB's letter FB at once wrote to his friend Mr Ben Hall, General Manager of the Portsmouth Tramways, who has now sent him copies of the newspaper containing the print [referred to in CX10/1]. Mr Hall has also sent two old postcards which call "all kinds of execrations upon the head of tramways" and meditates how history repeats itself with the present-day complaints about obstruction to traffic. Notes from the Municipal Official Journal that AGB proposes to double a section of track together with an interfacing track, and expresses his pleasure in receiving any enquiries for material in connection with this. Hopes to go to Colwyn next summer to meet AGB.
