Correspondence and papers relating to plants acquired by Roy Lancaster since 2000 for his garden in Chandler's Ford, Hampshire. Correspondence includes letters from plant growers and enthusiasts relating to the identification or progress of plants grown from seed or plant specimens supplied by or to Roy Lancaster including Campanula, Litsea, Aucuba, Begonia, Carpinus fangiana, Gladiolus, Cotinus and Clematis, and letters to and from nurseries and plant growers including Fibrex Nurseries, Warwickshire, Rinus Zwijnenburg of Boskoop, Netherlands, Olivier Colin, French plant collector, Dick Burns, Tasmania, Rickards Hardy Ferns, Worcestershire, Fromefield Nurseries, Hampshire, John Joe Costin, County Kildare, Ireland, and Keith Rushforth, Devon

Papers include details of seeds or surplus plants offered by University of British Columbia Botanical Garden, Canada, Shanghai Botanic Garden, China, Hangzhou Botanic Garden, China, Gothenburg Botanical Garden, Sweden, Westonbirt Arboretum, Wakehurst Place, Sussex, Harry Hay of Margery Hall Pig Farm, Surrey, dispatch record of plants sent to Roy Lancaster by RHS Wisley and by Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and plant data extracted from the Living Collections Database (LCD) of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Includes photographs, labelled, of Dyckia and Puya varieties, and of a Wisteria sent for identification by Ravensberg's Nurseries, County Offaly, Ireland, and photographs printed on standard printer paper of unidentified tree branch specimens being collected [possibly in Beijing, China] and packaged for dispatch to Wisley, 2017 (photographs are in folder 1 of 2)
