Ingoing and outgoing correspondence concerning coconut cups, letters from Winifred Coombe-Tennant, the director of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Keeper of the Indian Section, Louis Sieldle (Gem Merchant, Columbo) Dr Pieres (Trade Commissioner), B Barnett Ltd. (Diamond Merchants), Leonard Pierces and the Customs and Excise Officer. Winifred Coombe-Tennant was anxious to help the natives of Ceylon produce good quality marketable coconut cups and to this end decided to produce a model cup in Britain.
