Scope and Content

Two copy letters, synopsis and structural outline by Strachan relating to his proposed publication 'Distortion and obsession in modern art: Manet to Francis Bacon'. This did not ultimately appear because the UK publisher Charles Chadwyck-Healey was unable to find an American publisher to share the venture.
