Scope and Content

Feofees in trust; lands enfeoffed for purposes of jointure and succession. The young wife wasone of the Seven Pretty Peggies so often referred to in the social history of the period (more particularly of Anglesey); these Pools became the ancestors of a distinguished group of legal men in Caernarvon and Bangor (Pedigrees, 352).
