Addressed by Richard Briscoe, vicar of Whitford, and Hugh Jones, vicar of Holywell, to the members of the church of England, for subscriptions towards building a district church to serve parts of the said two parishes. The appeal quotes letters exchanged between the bishop of St Asaph and Viscount Feilding, with regard to a promise made by the latter to build a church at Pantasaph. Subsequent to his promise, however, Feilding had embraced the Catholic faith, and had not proceeded to build the church.
