Scope and Content

EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: George Sarward, police constable, on the Holyhead Breakwater Works and Enoch Williams, police officer, and Richard Brind, foreman of the plate layers on the Holyhead Harbour, all of parish Holyhead in the case v. Hugh Williams, for stealing various items, the property of Joseph Brown Rigby and Charles Rigby. Deponent G.J. states the accused is a labourer on the Harbour works and on suspecting him of having various items missed from the accuseds house. Along with deponent E.W. at quantity of articles were found in the accuseds sleeping chamber.
