Commonplace book containing the following: lists of sheriffs, under-sheriffs and recorders for the county of Glamorgan, 1541-1818, and fair-copy examples of the forms of a wide variety of deeds and legal documents. These appear to have been collected as a study aid, perhaps by a solicitor in training. They are taken from real documents, but in most cases the names of parties are either redacted or reduced to initials. The documents are indexed at the end of the volume.
