Assignment of Lease of part of the Forest Copper Works, Glamorgan: All those Copper Works Buildings, furnaces, houses, mills, yards, storehouses and other premises with the appurtenances and particulars delineated and described on the plan drawn on the second skin, and buildings coloured partly red and partly green situated lying and being on the north eastern portion of Ynis Howell Farm situated within the fee of Trewyddfa in the Parish of Llangyfelach, Glamorgan, and which the said premises bounded on the north by boundary stones inserted into the Quay wall and buildings and numbered from one to six on the west by the Swansea Canal on the east by the River Tawe and on the south side of the brick and clay court on the bank of the said River Tawe and being about four chains and thirty-five links or ninety-six yards south west from the boundary stone number one inserted in the quay wall to the south side of the Square Court on the Canal Bank (being about two chains and eighty links or sixty-two yards) southwest from the intersection of the Canal by the northern boundary of the Ynis Howell farm and which said premises contained two acres, one rood and eight perches a little more or less and were part and parcel of the Copper Works, called and known by the name of The Forest Copper Works. Together free liberty power and authority for the said Governor of the Copper Mines in England their successors or assigns at any time during the continuance of that demise to erect and build on the said premises any works, stacks furnaces houses cottages for workmen or other buildings for carrying on the works or business of smelting or refining of copper ore and copper incidental thereunto, and from time to time alter and reconstruct the works stacks furnaces and buildings or any of their works stacks furnaces and buildings for rendering them more convenient for the carrying on of the business and operation of smelint and refining. His or her workmen or otherwise in his employ or under his or her or their direction and for any lessee or lessees of the said mines minerals and quarries pit engine house tramroad and premises hereby excepted as aforesaid.
