Sixteen photographs of a sculpture. While all the photographs appear to show the same work, there are discrepancies in their labelling:
five photographs are labelled 'Standing Group';
two are labelled 'Standing Group (version one)';
one is labelled 'Standing Group (version two)';
one, originally labelled 'Standing Group', has later been amended to read 'Standing Group (version two), and the year changed from 1952 to 1952/54;
and seven are unlabelled.
Five are dated 1952 (one later modified, as noted above), and one is dated 1951.
The photographs seem to have been taken in Kenneth Armitage's studio, and tools and maquettes can be seen in the background in several of them.
