Scope and Content

Noted that Lanchester's letter was dated 24 July 1909, "the eve of Bleriot's exploit which will cause a general revision of preconceived ideas". Greenhill is writing to Bacon to recommend two propellers for the airship, contrary to Frederick Lanchesters advice of four.
