Publications, books, magazines and postcards in foreign languages about the Second World War and other contemporary events such as the founding of the UK welfare state, post-war rebuilding and allied partnerships.

Sensitivity warning regarding the colonial perspectives and language used with regards to country names, images, and impressions of Commonwealth and Empire countries and peoples.
