LETTER: H. R. Davies Treborth, Bangor, to Mr. Evans enclosing his copies of the Anglesey branch R. N. L. I. reports. (lost) He gives a little information about the Skerries light which apparently first shone in 1716. Wm. Trench who'd been granted the patent in 1714 died a bankrupt in 1725 and an Act of 1729 vested the light in his son-in-law, Sutton Morgan. He does not know how the light came to be in the hands of Morgan Jones.
