George Villiers, 4th Earl of Clarendon (1800-1870) was a British diplomat and statesman. He held a number of government offices during his political career: the Chancellorship of the Duchy of Lancaster (1840-1841, 1864-1865), the Presidency of the Board of Trade (1846-1847), Lord-Lieutenancy of Ireland (1847-1852), and he was Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on two occasions (1853-1858, 1865-1866).
