Scope and Content

No address. Last letter received by Edward Thomas from his wife Helen. The bloodstained letter was found on Edward's body after his death and returned to Helen with his effects. Helen kept the letter until her death, when it passed to her daughter Bronwen. Myfanwy (Bronwen's sister) passed it to R. George Thomas for safe-keeping on 25 August 1977, whereupon it was added to the Edward Thomas Collection in Cardiff University Library.
