Originally from Hong Kong Alice Chan was the first Chinese woman to settle in the Bangor area. She came to work in her brother's restaurant. After marrying she and her husband set up a restaurant business in Pwllhli before moving to Porthmadog. She describes coming to Bangor for the first time, the hard work of setting up and working in a family business and how she feels about living in the area an how her children feel about the area.
