Ring Round the Moon, a charade with music in three acts by Christopher Fry, adapted from Jean Anouilh's L'Invitation au Château. Oliver Messel's production first produced by H. M. Tennent Productions Ltd. at the Globe Theatre, London, on 26 January 1950. It was directed by Peter Brook with music by Richard Addinsell and dances arranged by William Chappell. It featured Paul Scofield as Hugo and Frederic and Claire Bloom as Isabelle. It was also performed at the Martin Bech Theatre, New York on 23 November, 1951 and the Folkes Theatre, Copenhagen under the title Dans under Stjernerne. [August 1950].
