Scope and Content

Photographs of the 150th celebrations of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa, showing Leuluomoega Fou College, which grew out of the preparatory school for Malua Theological College. Also includes celebrations at Malua during the General Assembly; Malua Fou school children dancing at the celebrations in Savaai - the newest secondary School that the church had opened, and Rev Oka Fau'olo and his family - principal of Malua Theological College in the 1980's and then the Chairman of the Samoa Council of Churches, who did a great deal to organise help during the tsunami of 2009.

Administrative / Biographical History

Miss Mair Angharad Roberts was born on 27 May 1938. She was appointed by the Council for World Mission to teach maths at Leulumoega Fou College, Western Samoa, in February 1980. She worked there until January 1984, when she resigned from her service with the Council for World Mission.
