Small colour painting of the base of the brain with a large cystic fifth nerve tumour evident on the right. Annotations on the back read "13".

This image features as plate 45 accompanying case 5 in the publication G. Jefferson, 'The trigeminal neurinomas', Clinical Neurosurgery, 1955, 1:11-54, in which it is described as a "posterior fossa cystic trigeminal neurinoma; root spread over surface of tumour".
