Scope and Content

Mostly written from Samuel Wood's chambers in the Temple. They deal with family business as well as family news. Including a copy in the hand of 2nd Viscount Halifax of a letter from S.F. Wood to Archdeacon Manning dated Good Friday 1843, about the writer's last illness.
Aug 1836: Mostly written during a tour in Ireland with Stephen Glynne.
