Three people at a table

Small black and white photograph of three people, sitting at a table outside, with trees behind. There is one woman (on the right) and two men, the table has a white tablecloth, and seems to be set for a meal, with a bottle of wine. Only the top half of the table and group is visible. [Taken during a holiday in France.] The photograph was taken fairly close, and trimmed down. Pasted onto the centre portion of a page in the notebook. There is a manuscript caption under the picture: 'Here's to the eggs at la Costiere', a reference to a direction in the play (opposite page), 'Another day the A's lunched / with the G's at la Costiere, / where the vassals and serfs were represented by hens and / an ultra maternal cat ...'.

Poor condition. Yellowed and faded slightly, some mirroring right and left, white spotting. Production method: gelatin-silver print.
