Scope and Content

From London, to Sally Wesley at Mr Haynes's house at Wick near Bristol, re her concern about Sally's health, which was the only thing that could have caused them to send her away from the family. Passing reference is made to several friends of the family in Bristol, namely Mrs Stafford, and Mr and Mrs Lewis of Castle Ditch.

Martha Hall has spent the day with them.

In a postscript she mentions that Susan is returning home for her mother's marriage. Tom has received Sally's letter, and Sarah was sorry to hear of Miss S James's illness.
