File containing correspondence relating to US women's music singer-songwriter Ila Meyer (b. 1940). The file includes correspondence between Caroline Hutton, owner of Women's Revolutions Per Minute (WRPM) and Ila Meyer and Kaija [Walters] at US record label Womansong Publishing (Index, Washington, USA) regarding the procurement by WRPM of 'The Women That I Am' (album) by Meyer. Subjects include (among others): order confirmations for the record; discussion about the high cost of importing records from the USA; discussions about a potential tour or UK by Meyer; and Hutton stating that she tries to avoid being involved in organising concerts. The file also includes promotional material for Meyer, including: biographical information on Meyer (1 sheet) and a photocopy of review of Meyer from 'The Victory Music Folk & Jazz Review' (December 1981).
