Scope and Content

LETTER: Edward Field, [member of staff, B. G. S.] 564 San Luis Rd., Berkeley to Mr Madoc Jones sending greetings for Christmas and the new year. England is in the midst of constitutional upheaval and they are waiting to find out what the King is going to do about Mrs Simpson. He expects that they will know in 24 hours. He regrets not having seen E. M. J. and the U.S. He has just returned from a month's business trip to Wyoming and Utah. He was glad to return home to his wife Agnes whom he praises in the letter. He encloses a publication which the Chief Chemist and himself made this year. He also issued a new patient. He enquires about the Madoc Jones family, and often thinks of the old days. He describes their new bridge and mentions the election results with which he was very pleased.
