AE was a member of Colwyn Borough council staff with a commitment to preserving historically important records relating to the Council, at a time when the authority had no archive of its own. This series was 'saved' by him from a variety of sources and donated to Conwy Archive Service upon its creation in 1996.
Records within this collection which were found to relate solely to other administrative authorities have been removed and catalogued appropriately in their relevant collections.
